“Oh!” I said, pointing to a phone booth partially hidden by a bush. “That one’s extra cool because it’s camouflaged.”
“Why do you keep taking pictures of phone booths anyway?” he asked.
“I’m documenting history. In a few years, these things won’t be around. I mean, imagine, the next generation won’t even know what a pay phone is. Someone has to preserve the past.”
“Well,” he said, “In that case you might want to hurry and get that Blockbuster Video over there, too. Looks like they’re already tearing it down!”
