Jennifer Goode Cooper performed “Only Job,” an aria from the opera, Transference, (libretto by Emily Roller and Frances Pollock, music by Frances Pollock) as one of the arias for American Opera Projects Composers and the Voice workshop series. Her rendition was breathtaking and heartbreaking. Transference is about a depressed small-town southern woman who seeks counseling from her evangelical pastor and the consequences of the relationship they form.
